Scone Cottage is a stunning contemporary villa. It was carefully designed to take full advantage of its magnificent aspects over the Sound of Jura towards Mull with the islands of Shuna, Luing and Scarba.

The house is built on two storeys under a tiled roof with a balcony on the first floor maximizing the views over the landscaped gardens and beyond to the Sound of Jura. The house design is characterised by the dominant use of glass and wood, creating an open, airy Scandinavian feel, with the outdoors ever present through the generous windows, whatever the weather.

The main entrance to Scone Cottage is via the door to the side of the property leading to a well proportioned reception hallway with a downstairs shower room off with luxury suite. The double height sun room has French doors to the side and fantastic views to both the front and rear. There is an exceptionally spacious open plan kitchen / dining room with a wide range of white bespoke base and wall mounted units with marble worktops, integrated appliances and island unit. Off the kitchen there is a fitted utility room and integral one and a half sized garage. To the rear of the ground floor there are two double sized bedrooms.
The first floor accommodation has a bright open plan sitting room with sliding doors leading to the wonderful glass fronted balcony from which the truly breathtaking outlook can be enjoyed. The master bedroom is also on the first floor with a sleek, contemporary en suite four piece bathroom with Jacuzzi bath off and large walk in wardrobe. The accommodation is completed by a substantial studio / bedroom which provides plenty of secure play space for smaller children. There is a very efficient and eco friendly wood burning stove. Heating is underfloor and is serviced from a very efficient ground source heat pump and insulation. The property benefits from a large veranda overlooking the sound and the islands.
On the veranda we have a fantastic top of the range Spa for 6 with views down the sound to Jura.
